LED T8 TUBES
If you're looking for a more energy-efficient lighting option, then T5 LED tubes are the way to go. Type A
Type A are plug-and-play tubes that provide a quick and easy replacement for fluorescent bulbs. They are compatible with select existing ballasts meaning there is no need for any rewiring or socket changes. Once the existing bulb is removed, you can then directly plug in the new LED tube.
Type B
Type B, or Ballast bypass tubes, operate directly off of the fixtures line voltage without any other additional equipment. This will require a little bit more work because you need to remove the current ballast and install the new LED tube. However, because it operates without an external ballast or driver, that’s one less thing you need to worry about and keep up with maintenance.
Type C
Type C are LED tubes that operate using an external driver. This type of LED tube will get rid of any compatibility problems you might be experiencing and will provide you with efficient performance and amazing light quality.
