LED T5 TUBES
T5 LED tubes are the perfect replacement for fluorescent lamps at only a fraction of the energy cost. T5 LEDS are available in three different types: plug-and-play, ballast bypass, or external driver.
Type A - Plug and Play - Easiest Installation
Plug-and-play tubes will directly replace T5 fluorescent lamps and are compatible with select electronic ballasts. These are the easiest to install and require no socket changes, rewiring or modifications of any kind. They most commonly operate on electronic or programmed start fluorescent T5 ballasts.
Type B - Ballast Bypass - Simplest System
Ballast bypass tubes are solid state replacements for T5 linear fluorescents and don’t require any external ballast or driver. Line voltage operation will ensure a simple installation and long lasting life. They are also PET coated to prevent shattering and increase the durability of the fixture.
Type C - External Driver - Best Performance
These LED tubes use an external driver to operate the lamp rather than an external ballast. This eliminates any ballast compatibility issues and ensures the most optimal system efficacy and performance.
